Dengue Dengue Dengue PE

A psychedelic tropical bass duo lures audiences into a colorful and futuristic fever dream of a concert experience

With masks, mystique, and massive bass, Dengue Dengue Dengue draw audiences into a vibrant and futuristic fever dream of a live show when they take the stage. The Peruvian duo has spent over a decade challenging club conventions with their unique fusion of psychedelic cumbia, dub, salsa, footwork, and techno, delivering standout performances at Roskilde Festival and Global. This September, we’re excited to present them as they return to Copenhagen.

Since their beginnings in Lima, Dengue Dengue Dengue—comprised of Felipe Salmon and Rafael Pereira—have worked at the intersection of sound and visual identity, always rooted in Peruvian and global rhythms with a constant electronic undercurrent. Their music moves between the organic and the digital, where pulsating percussion, thunderous beats, and magnetic synth textures merge into a sensual whole.

In 2024, Dengue Dengue Dengue released the EP “AGITA2”, their first project in nearly two years. With it, the duo takes another step deeper into their own sonic universe, presenting five intense tracks brimming with Latin American rhythms and experimental club energy. The EP was mixed by the duo themselves, marking a new level of artistic control and exploration. Live, Dengue Dengue Dengue is an all-encompassing experience, and their uncompromising approach and playful energy have secured them a distinct place on the international electronic scene, with unforgettable performances at festivals like Roskilde and Global. Now they return to Copenhagen, and we’re thrilled to present them at ALICE!
