When the young artists perform at ALICE, it marks the culmination of a longer creative development process in Turning Tables Danmark’s cultural laboratory, Kapellet in Nørrebro. Here they meet weekly in a creative community, where—together with professional instructors—they develop their artistic practice, explore new ideas, and create their own works. Through feedback sessions and collaborative sparring, they have refined their music, which is now presented live at ALICE.
The evening offers a unique insight into a growing local music scene, where young artists are given the opportunity to develop their sound, step onto the stage, and share their work with an audience. It is a concert filled with energy, curiosity, and new perspectives—and a chance to experience what is emerging among young people in Nørrebro through their own stories and musical expression.
