Klang Festival 2025

What’s new? What’s fresh? What points to the future? Experience it at Klang Festival 2025
Klang Festival presents part of its program from June 12 to 14 at ALICE. Find more details about the program and ticket prices on the festival’s website.

Klang Festival is driven by a hunger for discovery: What’s new? What’s fresh? What points to the future? These questions are vital and help shape Klang’s identity. But in a time when the foundations of our society are under pressure, we feel called to ask deeper questions: What is the role of culture? What about experimental music – who is it for? What is Klang’s purpose? And who is the festival really for? Join us as Klang Festival takes over ALICE!

The festival has existed since 2009 and is Denmark’s largest festival for experimental contemporary music. This year’s program brings together an unusually wide range of artistic voices, perspectives, and approaches. In recent years, Klang has deliberately expanded what it presents and how it presents it. The team has looked toward new stages, forged new collaborations, and explored new frameworks for listening. At ALICE, no fewer than five Klang Festival events will take place between June 12 and 14. Here you can experience everything from the composer music of tomorrow with Nyklang, to rhythms and tones inspired by kombucha fermentation with LYD PORT × NEKO3, to a listening session and memorial event for the late composer Marcus Lease.
