With traditional Korean percussion instruments, the three female musicians of groove& create a deeply sensory, detail rich and moving  sound rooted in heritage, yet open to bold experimentation.

Using a variety of traditional Korean percussion instruments, they craft a sound that’s rich in detail, deeply immersive—and yes, groovy. The three percussionists, Sangkyung LEE, Minju SOHN, and Hakyung KIM, are each celebrated for their individual artistry. Together, they explore the power of musical co-creation—where the outcome becomes much more than the sum of its parts. The trio has previously performed at events such as the Resonator Festival, Forde Festival, MUNDIAL Montreal, and WOMEX in Portugal.
