Rebe ES + Osy Cotton

Theatrical love myths and seductive bedroom pop in extravagant balloon scenography

In April, Rebe takes the stage with theatrical love myths and seductive, airy dream pop in an extravagant balloon scenography that transforms the room into a parallel fantasy landscape. The hyped Madrid-based DIY artist’s universe is kitsch, sensual and radically bizarre – yet irresistibly catchy. With her latest single “Brilla el sol” and a large-scale European tour underway, she is heading straight for the stars – and luckily, she stops by ALICE on the way. Danish Osy Cotton opens the evening with delicate nu-emo bedroom pop and intimate confessions.

Stepping into Rebe’s world is not just about listening to her airy, analogue and playful bedroom pop. It is about being immersed in a complete universe: the dreamlike atmosphere, the theatrical love myths and the hazy vintage aesthetic unfolding across music, videos and Instagram. Musically, Rebe draws threads from Spanish 70s and 80s ballads and iconic artists such as Jeanette and Lola Flores into contemporary dream pop. Here, fairies, flowers and shimmering melancholy coexist with a pulse of innocent eroticism and a teasing rebelliousness.

Rebe began her musical journey in the trio LULI REBE & SUS XOCOLATINAS, but her singular, unruly artistic personality soon demanded its own space. Her solo debut, “Recuerdos de cuando me aplastó una roca y me morí” (2019), was released on cassette via Snap! Clap! Club and Jeanne D’Arc – wrapped in hand-sewn fabric covers made by Rebe herself – and sold out before it even hit the streets. A vinyl reissue quickly followed, also selling out. On the album, she merges melodic quirks and hazy, refined production with a writing style that deliberately clashes with the music’s almost perfumed elegance. Since then, she has released songs outside conventional formats, performed at leading festivals and released music through labels including Elefant Records. Her latest single, “Brilla el sol” (2026), has already set the tone for her upcoming EU tour. We are thrilled that she is also stopping by ALICE with her magnetic, sensual dream pop universe and extravagant balloon scenography.

Osy Cotton
The evening opens with Osy Cotton, who draws the audience close with their nu-emo bedroom pop universe. Big emotions and intimate confessions merge with bass-heavy beats, dreamy distorted textures and shoegaze guitar haze. It is emotional, digital and diary-like – with clear ties to the new wave of experimental bedroom pop associated with artists such as Oklou and Bladee, yet filtered through Osy’s own dark, poetic lens. Live, the songs are reshaped in a setup with guitar and DJ, where singer-songwriter roots and a hint of country slip in between the electronic textures.
