ALICE opens Vinterjazz 2022 with an exciting programme presenting two new duo constellations that fuses Anatolian/Kurdish roots with Nordic sounds. Experience Thorhan – a new duo from Orhan Özgür Turan (Ipek Yolu, Hudna) and Icelandic musician/producer Þór Arnarsson – and Luna Ersahin (AySay) in a new duo with Rezwan Taha (Rest in Beats). We promise an evening of groovy and soulful music, mixing Anatolian and Kurdish traditions with psychedelic explorations, African blues, lush vocals and – not to forget – lots of epic saz!
