ALICE is nominated for Politikens Ibyen Prisen 2025

ALICE has been nominated in the category ‘Initiative of the Year’ for the Politiken Ibyen Award 2025. After a year of major changes, new initiatives, and growing presence and fresh life in Nørrebro, we truly appreciate this meaningful pat on the back from the Ibyen Award.

The Ibyen Award will be presented at a ceremony in the Byhaven at Pumpehuset in Copenhagen on May 28. Admission to the award ceremony is free for everyone, and the public can vote for their favorites across a range of categories — including the ‘Initiative of the Year’ category.

The jury has nominated ALICE for the award with the following statement:

“After four years away from Nørrebro and a major renovation, ALICE has returned. And what a comeback. The venue on Nørre Allé ensures that we Copenhageners can attend concerts that are truly unique. With a repertoire spanning everything from bagpipes and afro-jazz to throat singing and Japanese pop-punk, ALICE is a genre-defying wonder-beast, where the whole world — and most of Copenhagen — meets in the speakers.”

You can vote for ALICE in the ‘Initiative of the Year’ category until May 22 at 12:00 PM. Vote here.
