The first act of Noise Night opens with the legendary and iconic ensemble of Ute Wassermann, Lotte Anker and Andrea Parkins, three of today’s most important voices in experimental improvised music. Together they present KLINGGGG: an adventurous collective improvisation that is unsettling, strange and beautiful in equal measure. Vocals, saxophone, accordion and electronics collide in real time, building surreal sonic worlds from scratch.

Lineup:
Ute Wassermann: Stemme, objekter (DE)

Lotte Anker: Saxofoner (DK)
Andrea Parkins: Akkordion, electronik (US/DE)

Andrea Parkins

Electroacoustic performer, composer, and intermedia artist who combines electronically processed accordion with electronic feedback, found-object sounds, and live processing. She explores the connections between body, material, sound, and space.

Ute Wassermann

Vocalist, composer, and improviser known for her extraordinary, polyphonic vocal language, which unites composition, improvisation, and performance art. Her singing moves between electronic, animalistic, and human qualities.

Lotte Anker

Danish saxophonist, improviser, and composer working within a hybrid field of improvisation, experimental jazz, and contemporary music, exploring the multifaceted—and often distinctive—qualities of sound, space, and time.
