Juana Aguirre AR + juni IT

Argentinian indie comet opens new musical spaces between Latin American folk and dreamy electronic textures

With her bright and hopeful indie take on Latin American folk, Juana Aguirre is currently one of the most prominent names on the new Argentinian music scene. She has already appeared at major festivals such as Primavera Sound and La Línea in London – and this June we are finally able to welcome her for her very first Danish concert when she takes the stage at ALICE as part of her ambitious Los Pilares tour. The new Italian alt-pop darling juni opens the evening with dark electronic textures.

Juana Aguirre’s music feels like small portals to other places. Born in Buenos Aires, the singer, songwriter, and producer began writing and producing her own music while traveling the world – a process that culminated in her debut album Claroscuro in 2021. In 2025 she followed it up with Anónimo, and both releases were praised for their expansive sonic universe, where acoustic instruments blend with subtle electronic layers and emotionally charged lyrics.

Aguirre moves effortlessly between the intimate and the atmospheric: fragile guitar melodies, floating vocals, and dreamy productions open a poetic space where Latin American folk traditions meet a modern indie aesthetic. The result is music that feels both deeply personal and far-reaching – songs that continually reveal new layers. On the Los Pilares tour, Juana Aguirre revisits songs from her two critically acclaimed albums while also unveiling new material. We are thrilled to present Juana Aguirre when she plays her very first concert in Denmark at ALICE this June.

juni
juni — aka the new Italian underground darling — opens the evening for Juana Aguirre with a captivating and shadowy electronic universe where alternative pop meets offbeat storytelling in Neapolitan, Italian, and English. Behind the alias is musician, singer, and songwriter Ilaria Formisano, formerly a member of the band Gomma. With juni, she moves freely between the playful and the unsettling, driven by a fearless urge to explore new forms and sonic experiments. If you’re into electronic alt-pop with a frayed edge, juni might just become your new favorite.
