“One of Nigeria’s most ruthless emerging artists with hooks that pierce deep into your flesh” – The Quietus
Aunty Rayzor’s roots lie in church singing and underground rap battles, and she broke through with “Kuku Corona”, which became an anthem in Nigeria during the pandemic. Her debut album Viral Wreckage, released in 2023 on Nyege Nyege Tapes’ label Hakuna Kulala, received international acclaim. Resident Advisor has described her as “a serious performer ready for world domination”, praising her uncompromising flow and irresistibly danceable rhythms that blend afrobeat, hip-hop and dancehall into a captivating sound.
Despite her young age, Aunty Rayzor has already taken major stages around the world, from Roskilde Festival, Rewire and Couleur Café to Paleo Festival and Donaufestival. She is known as a formidable live performer with a versatile vocal delivery, powerful charisma and a fearless stage presence. Collaborations with producers such as Debmaster and Rey Sapienz have further shaped her hard-hitting sound. Aunty Rayzor tore up the crowd during a sold-out show at ALICE’s opening week on Nørre Allé in 2024. Now she fearlessly returns to ALICE this November for a sweat-soaked night, bringing new material with her.
