Newroz marks the arrival of spring and a new beginning for many Kurdish and Persian cultures—a celebration of light, renewal, and community. ALICE brings Newroz into the present with its gaze set firmly on the dance floor, inviting you to an evening where club culture and cultural roots meet. DJ NAH CARE opens the night with sweat-soaked club music rooted in Copenhagen’s progressive queer scene, Istanbul Ghetto Club delivers explosive eastern rave punk, and PAYDAR closes the night with an energetic and inclusive set.

Istanbul Ghetto Club
Istanbul Ghetto Club emerged from Berlin’s legendary underground as an anonymous art initiative that is as much about performance art and visual storytelling as it is about club music. Their live shows have amassed over one million organic views online, while their Instagram universe resembles a digital gallery where sound, image, and identity merge. Here, a charged interface emerges between East and West, tradition and contemporaneity, underground and mainstream. Musically, Istanbul Ghetto Club works with improvised club compositions where rave collides with performance, film, theatre, and literature. Each concert is a new transformation – unpredictable, intense, and deeply physical. It’s no coincidence that their mantra is: “A Rave With Istanbul Ghetto Club Will Be Unforgettable.”

Audiences around the world have already experienced their wild and sensorial shows at venues and festivals such as Nuits Sonores, Berlin Atonal, Fusion Festival, Lente Kabinet, Maxim Gorki Theater, and VENT Tokyo. Now it’s Copenhagen’s turn – and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate Newroz.

PAYDAR
“PAYDAR delivered an unforgettable and inclusive dance party when they unfolded their musical universe at Roskilde Festival.” – Bands Of Tomorrow

PAYDAR rounds off the night after Istanbul Ghetto Club with a DJ set that is as energetic, unpredictable, and inclusive as it is personal. With roots in Iran, an upbringing in the Nordics, and an identity floating freely between cultures, PAYDAR invites the audience into a dizzying sonic space. The music moves effortlessly between amapiano, hip-hop, baile funk, afro, and Arabic house, woven into a pulsating club universe where contrasts coexist. PAYDAR’s sound draws in part from Iranian 90s music from their childhood home, alongside encounters with house and hip-hop, later united on the debut EP Middlebeatz (2024). Live, PAYDAR creates a space where individuality, community, and diverse identities are celebrated – an energy already felt everywhere from intimate clubs to Roskilde Festival’s Apollo stage.

DJ NAH CARE
DJ NAH CARE opens the night with an energetic and uncompromising DJ set that connects directly to Copenhagen’s progressive and queer nightlife. As a central figure on the city’s club scene, he has spent the past decade developing a kinetic and physical sound where hard groove, trance, sexy house, and cheeky club edits merge with clear references to his Kurdish roots. As founder of MISS THING and resident at Endurance CPH, DJ NAH CARE works actively to promote inclusion and queer representation both on and off the dancefloor. His intense, high-energy sets have taken him to clubs across Europe – from Berlin to Lisbon – leaving a strong international imprint.
