Join us for a night at the theater with a concert set in the scenography from the performance FOLKEVISER.

Betty Nansen invites ALICE members to a concert curated by Jeanett Albeck and the artist network Frankly My Dear. They have gathered eight artists with roots in different cultures, performing folk music from their home countries—music that connects us to both nature and ourselves. The artists, all based in Denmark, come from Gambia, Syria, Kurdistan, Norway, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, and the USA, among others.

The concert concludes with a collective interpretation of a selection of Danish folk songs—like you’ve never heard them before. The lineup, which will continue to grow, currently includes:
