Get ready for an explosion of trance-noise, laser, and modular synth, as Danish duo H E X (Lars Bech Pilgaard og Anders Bach) and Japanese DoraVideo cross blades at Xenon, Huset.

Behind H E X is guitarist Lars Bech Pilgaard and percussionist Anders Bach. H E X has had a prominent role in the Danish underground scene for the past four years and just this winter, Anders Bach took ALICE by storm with an inferno of drums as he presented his ALICE Works project “Musik til Gnomen”.

DoraVideo (Ichiraku Yoshimitsu) has long been a central figure in the Japanese avantgarde scene, collaborating with artists such as Otomo Yoshihide, Keiji Haino and Jim O’Rourke. Ichiraku has frequently toured Europe and USA, and recorded with people such as Eugene Chadbourne and Chris Cutler.

H E X and DoraVideo met back in 2019 in Kyushu, Japan, where the anarchistic freeform trance of H E X and DoraVideos free controller setup came together and bathed the audience in a sea of synthetic sounds, lasers and ecstasy. This September, the two will reunite as H E X feat. DoraVideo as they take over Xenon, Huset.
