Cantes Malditos was born from an unexpected encounter in the recording studio, when Granada-based singer Antonio Fernández suddenly found himself without a guitarist during a session. Producer José Antonio Sánchez invited Pedro de Dios—guitarist and the creative force behind the acclaimed Spanish blues band Guadalupe Plata—to step in, and the meeting sparked a rare musical chemistry.

Cantes Malditos moves through classic flamenco forms such as seguiriya, soleá, toná, zambra and petenera, paying tribute to legendary figures like La Niña de los Peines while embracing a sound that vibrates with electric intensity.
