This growing fascination shone a spotlight on the foremost Bulgarian choirs, who had spent decades refining these ancient techniques. During the communist era, the choir’s opportunities to travel abroad with its extraordinary music was severely limited. But since then, Bulgarian Voices Angelite have built a reputation as an ensemble that elevates the Bulgarian choral tradition to sublime heights. They have released several critically acclaimed albums, performed grand concerts around the world (including two sold-out ALICE-shows at Marmorkirken), and received numerous Grammy nominations.
