ALICE TUNES IN: Turnovermoth DK/NO + Mylder DK + Antonia Dix DK + Libertiner DK

Volunteer-driven concert format opens the hall to emerging musical projects

In a series of recurring live events, ALICE TUNES IN opens the doors to new and experimental musical projects and ideas. The concert format transforms ALICE’s familiar stage into an exploratory meeting place for both new and experienced artists. With budding new sounds and voices, the audience is invited to four short and intimate sets that grow together into an evening focused on curiosity, community, and new artistic experiments.

ALICE TUNES IN is run and curated in collaboration with a dedicated volunteer group from ALICE’s existing community. We are excited to present the fourth edition of the concert series, featuring experimental and evocative sonic worlds. The final ALICE TUNES IN evening of the year will take us across a range of moods and genres. We’ll begin with the dreamy ambient soundscapes of Turnovermoth, followed by Mylder’s understated alternative folk and the tender, guitar-driven indie of Antonia Dix. The evening culminates in the raw sounds of Libertiner, whose experimental blend of no wave and free jazz promises a powerful and liberating finale.

OBS: The concert is free, but a ticket is required

Turnovermoth (DK/NO)

With a musical background in ambient and short-film scores, the project Turnovermoth explores how compositions and soundscapes inspired by magical realism create spaces that feel both real and somehow removed from the familiar, allowing audiences to see reflections of their inner lives. Remixed versions of their own compositions will be performed live, with cello intertwining with synthesizers. The evening’s first concert offers an opportunity to experience a dreamy and deeply personal sonic universe.

Mylder (DK)

Singer-songwriter Mylder moves between alternative folk, shoegaze, dream pop and understated slowcore vocals. Mylder combines the organic and the ethereal with a distinct sensitivity. The lyrics take shape as poetic reflections on mental health, the body, a love of nature and queer themes. Continuously searching for emotional release, this musical project revolves around breaking free from the expectations and conditions that shape how we relate to ourselves and one another. Mylder has received recognition from Danish music magazine GAFFA, which nominated him in the categories Artist of the Year and Newcomer of the Year in 2024.

Antonia Dix (DK)

Antonia Dix creates alternative indie music where lyrics and emotions take the lead. With her guitar and a playful vocal style sound, she balances melancholy with an undercurrent of hope revolving around heartbreak, emotional release and new beginnings. Her music is intuitive and honest, often drawing inspiration from city life and the changing seasons. Live, she creates an intimate space where words and sound invite the audience into a shared emotional experience.

Libertiner (DK)

Libertiner is an experimental band that moves freely between no wave, free jazz and monastic chants, creating a powerful, unpredictable sound. With drums, bass, guitar, violin and saxophone, they dig down into the darkness, letting the music take shape through repetition and improvisation. Their music carries force and a rawness that seems to capture some of the turmoil that fills the world. In a release of energy oscillating between the fierce and the meditative, the music builds towards a cathartic release.
