In a series of recurring live events, ALICE TUNES IN opens the doors to new and experimental musical projects and ideas. The concert format transforms ALICE’s familiar stage into an exploratory meeting place for both new and experienced artists. With budding new sounds and voices, the audience is invited to four short and intimate sets that grow together into an evening focused on curiosity, community, and new artistic experiments.

ALICE TUNES IN is run and curated in collaboration with a dedicated volunteer group from ALICE’s existing community. We are excited to present the third edition of the concert series, featuring experimental and evocative sonic worlds. An evening that moves from Danske Kvalmer’s meditative meeting of hymns, ambient and noise, through Terence Dougherty’s lo-fi singer-songwriter universe of experimental and emotionally charged songs, and Orestis Marantos’ hypnotic take on Greek folk music, to Sofía Cardich’s Spanish-language indie pop infused with warm synth textures.

Danske Kvalmer (DK)
Danske Kvalmer is an ambient/noise project that, in the artist’s own words, is an electronic one-man choir leafing through a hymn book with a pair of scissors. Their music is longing and restless, beautiful and abrasive. The compositions draw inspiration from the Danish church music tradition, while noisy elements pull the music in new directions. Danske Kvalmer’s sound inhabits a space between extremes, at once eerie, meditative and comforting. We are thrilled to welcome him as the opening act of the third edition of ALICE TUNES IN.

Terence Dougherty (NO)
Terence Dougherty is a Norwegian-American experimental singer-songwriter based in Copenhagen, taking the ALICE stage as the evening’s second act. After several years as the lead singer of a number of Norwegian bands, Dougherty has turned his focus to his solo project. Here, noise and experimental, jazz-inflected electronics merge with a more classic singer-songwriter sensibility. The ALICE TUNES IN team was drawn to his androgynous vocals and his raw, lo-fi, chaotic aesthetic, evoking artists such as Ariel Pink, Connan Mockasin and Prince.

Orestis Marantos (GR)
Orestis Marantos brings a mythic and atmospheric universe rooted in Greek folk music to ALICE. His debut EP, Ptyhes (2025), revolves around stories from Crete, where Marantos previously lived. Tales of the island’s people and landscapes lend the music a strong narrative dimension. Combined with Marantos’ deep vocals, string instruments and pizzicato guitar playing, they create an almost hypnotic soundscape. On stage, he is joined by a larger ensemble that expands the musical universe with traditional instruments including Cretan lyra and Greek bagpipes.

Sofia Cardich (AR)
Argentine composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Sofía Cardich closes the evening, where Spanish-language indie meets synth-pop, guitar and poetic lyricism. Based in Copenhagen, Cardich builds bridges between the Latin American and Nordic music scenes. Her debut album Autodefinido (2025) explores themes of transformation, distance and love, blending rhythmic guitar with electronic textures in an intimate and atmospheric sound inspired by artists such as Babasónicos, Rosario Bléfari and Cate Le Bon. Following performances in Spain, Denmark and Argentina, Cardich presents her songs live with an intensity and warmth that brings the audience close.
