This concert is part of ALICE Summer Series and will take place in the yard between ALICE and UNION. Read more here.
Summer is upon us, and so is ALICE Summer Series – our open-air concerts with cold drinks and summer vibes galore, taking place in the courtyard between ALICE and UNION Fridays and Saturdays, from May and throughout August.
The members of the Danish super group Baujillaud fearlessly mix free jazz, danceable beats, and global inspirations. Their album “Candy Prince from 2016 received a DMA Jazz award, with Information calling it “both crazy, kinky, funny, invigorating, and exhausting.” Now, the band is finally ready with some new material, and this Summer Series performance marks the release of the vinyl version of “A Vision Of A Dragons Head”. We look forward to celebrating this amazing live band with an evening filled with restless energy, catchy grooves, and tons of charm.
You will also get to experience the new project Living Ever After who just released the album “Parallel Extreme” at Visage Cph. Behind the name is Troels Damgaard-Christensen, known from Collider. In this new project, he experiments with intuitive lo-fi recordings, alternate states of consciousness, and combining meditation and songwriting – creating warm, soothing music in an intimate atmosphere. At this event Johan Polder, Anton Sørensen and Rune Kielsgaard will join Troels Damgaard-Christensen on the stage.
Practical info about ALICE Summer Series
Under the headline ALICE Summer Series, we present open-air concerts Fridays and Saturdays from May and throughout August. We’ve moved the bar outside as well, and we make sure to follow all current COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions. Luckily, recent changes in the restrictions allow our guests to stand during the concerts – though we’ve of course made sure there are plenty of benches in the yard so you can rest your legs. Food from our friends at Send Flere Krydderier will be available, and the courtyard opens at 4pm, so stop by early for a beer and a chat in the sun.
