K Bech
Which sounds does it make, as a train rattles along worn-out railway tracks, and what will meet your ear when a carousel suddenly grinds to a halt? With acoustic guitar, chamber-style vocals, strings, and club-infused beats, K Bech might have an answer. With a sound that is equal parts catchy and nostalgic, K Bech creates a universe that is both longing and soothing. Behind the project is Kristoffer Bech, also the lead singer and guitarist of the rock band Shiny Darkly, and a member of the big-beat band Wedding. With his new solo project, K Bech, he is on to a new path – and if you want to know where it leads, we can only recommend stopping by ALICE this evening!
Soap Horse
Melody and dissonance go hand in hand in the project Soap Horse, where country, punk and experimental rock come together. The music ranges from intimate, poetic songs to noisy, droning, and grand arrangements, created by violin, saxophone, pedal steel guitar, guitar and not least by a raw and present vocal. That’s the hallmark of Soap Horse’s dark, stormy and shapeshipting sound.
The project is led by Danish musician Hans Gustav Björklund Moulvad, who has previously received recognition as part of the duo Mavourneen and has toured and collaborated with artists such as Steve Shelley of Sonic Youth and Trentemøller. In 2024, he supported The Raveonettes on their US tour as Soap Horse. Although he has yet to release a debut album, a lot can be expectedl when Soap Horse rides up to the stage at ALICE!
