This year’s festival closes as Copenhagen Contemporary String Quartet takes the stage. Inspired by underground club culture, they present an intense and uninterrupted set of pulsating beats, electronics and works by some of today’s most exciting composers: from David Lang and Anna Meredith to Alfred Schnittke and George Crumb. Dark vibrations, hypnotic patterns and painful beauty collide in one continuous, physical set. This is what a string quartet can be. The bar is open all night.
