Organic grooves and club culture merge in a Nordic hybrid celebration

With a surge of pulsating energy and organic grooves, the Gothenburg-based collective Fauna has quickly established themselves as one of the most exciting new names on the Scandinavian scene. Their first singles, “Animalisk” and “Cirkel”, set the tone in 2023 with a dance-friendly, raw and melodic sound that immediately caught the attention of both audiences and critics. In 2026, they’re set to release their debut album at Glitterbeat Records. Lace up your dancing shoes when Fauna performs at ALICE this March!

Fauna emerged from a strong DIY environment in Gothenburg, where their first live appearance became an underground club experience featuring international guests such as Acid Arab and Carbon Based Lifeforms. The concert cemented the band’s ability to bridge electronic party culture with hand-played instrumentation – a signature they’ve continued to refine on stages across Scandinavia and mainland Europe. They have appeared at festivals including PLX, Roots & Hybrid, Beat Dage, PHRE, Positive Future, Way Out West and Urkult, and have shared lineups with artists like Islandman, Föllakzoid, Bab L’Bluz, Fulu Miziki and Waq Waq Kingdom. Even in their hometown, they’ve made a strong mark with a support show for GOAT.

In 2026, Fauna will release their debut album at Glitterbeat Records. With the album, the band explores new layers in their already distinctive sound: organic rhythms, repetitive trance-like structures and warm, hand-played details at the intersection of electronica and globally-inspired grooves. With a packed 2026 ahead and a growing international following, Fauna is ready for another major leap — and ready to set ALICE into vibrant motion this March!
