ALICE has invited six creative and visionary voices from the local and international music scene to curate their own version of a club night at ALICE in spring 2025. For CLUB JOLIE, ALICE will transform into a vibrant dance floor as Jolie, BUJA, and Fiyahdred bring their unique fusion of electronic experiments, afro-diasporic rhythms, and bass-heavy beats. On the night, this lineup will be joined by dancers ATIF & DATIF.

Jolie
With roots in Tanzania and based in Copenhagen, Jolie Kubini digs deep into the soundscapes of Africa and its diaspora. From highlife samples to Gqom, Kuduro, and beyond – her selections weave threads between the past and present, creating an engaging and energetic universe. Having performed in Denmark, Uganda, and Sweden, she has shared her knowledge, soul, and rhythmic finesse across continents.

BUJA
Takes the audience on a sonic journey through the pulsing soundtracks of the afro-diaspora. With a passion for rhythms from Africa and Latin America, BUJA delivers a set that is both playful and explosive – filled with warm grooves and heavy basslines that make the dance floor vibrate.

Fiyahdred
Fiyahdred is a true visionary in electronic music, known for their dark, percussive house sound that has captured listeners worldwide. With releases on labels such as Hyperdub, Club Djembe, and Rhythm Section, they have earned a reputation as an innovative force in the global club scene. In 2024, Fiyahdred took another step forward by launching their own imprint, Wildfiyah – a platform for boundary-pushing, bass-driven sounds.
