AGGRASOPPAR FO + Lover’s Skit SE

A musical tornado

Hold on tight! With the Faroese phenomenon AGGRASOPPAR and the Swedish sensation Lover’s Skit, a musical tornado is about to sweep through ALICE. Get ready for an evening of punk energy, captivating live performances, and genre combinations beyond the ordinary.

Lover’s Skit

A sharp-edged soundscape, a punk vibe, and genre-defying productions have made Lover’s Skit a band to keep an eye on. The Swedish sensation was formed in 2020 in Stockholm, shortly after duo members Nathalia Aránguiz and Ove Jerndal were introduced to each other. Since then, things have taken off for the young duo, known for their boundary-pushing style where breakbeat collides with indie rock, pop, rap, and salsa, as well as their provocative lyrics, and rowdy, high-energy performances.

The duo performed at Roskilde Festival last year, where their concert on the Gaia stage received top marks from Bands of Tomorrow. Now Lover’s Skit is back with new material. Their EP All Rights Reserved is set to be released in September. The opening track sets the tone: “You’re taking a big bite of my life, my future and my rights,” raps Nathalia Aránguiz over a 90s hip-hop beat. The album touches on social issues and sticks its tongue out at the music industry. With All Rights Reserved, Lover’s Skit make it clear that they’re here to stay – ready to challenge and celebrate those who’re tired of empty words!

AGGRASOPPAR

Thanks to that eclectic mix they have taken the underground by storm and gained significant international attention in recent years.
