From the 15th century composer Rodericus to today’s young composers, JACK is one of the most recognised and respected ensembles of our time. Often working closely with some of the most innovative composers, the quartet are experts at adapting new music in collaboration with its creators.
This unique New York quartet performs contemporary works with a ferocity and commitment that leaves no doubt: they are the superheroes of tomorrow’s classical music! In this evening’s concert, they will perform new works by composers Aleksandra Gryka and Hector Parra, as well as György Ligeti’s 2nd String Quartet and 15th-century composer Rodericus’ Angelorum Psalat Tripudium, arranged by JACK Quartet violinist Christopher Otto.
