The concert takes place in ALICEs old courtyard at Nørre Allé 7.

The brilliant American guitarist and singer Ryley Walker finally returns to Copenhagen. Walker carries the torch of folk pioneers such as Bert Jansch and Tim Buckley while mixing the folk sound with dreamy psychedelics and journeys into jazz improvisation. In 2021 he released the album “Course in Fable”, an album that sees him exploring psychedelic folk and prog rock. The album received critical praise. Uncut wrote:
“It’s a short, ineluctably lovely set, light, bright and often dizzyingly joyful, but also thrillingly unpredictable, with complex, jazzy arrangements against which Walker’s phasing gently pushes and pulls.”
Without doubt we’ll get the pleasure of hearing some of these songs live, when Walker performs in ALICEs cozy summer yard at Nørre Allé with his band.
