Due to the current Corona situation and the declaration from the government to shut down all cultural institutions the next two weeks, we have decided to cancel all shows from today until March 31st. For now, we are working on new dates for as many concerts as possible. For this reason the show on March 17th is also cancelled. Ticket holders will get their money back via Billetto. “The New Quiet” is the latest missive from the long-running duo pairing of Mats Gustafsson (Fire! & Fire! Orchestra, The End, The Underflow) and Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth, Chelsea Light Moving, Thurston Moore Band/ Spirit Council). Electronic missiles of poetic beauty paired with low dynamic/ high energy layers of doom! Acoustic noise and vocal mayhem. Flutter and Splatter abstract Jazz density!

 Amirtha Kidambi & Lea Bertucci (US)

The new duo of Amirtha Kidambi on vocals and Lea Bertucci on analog electronics, finds new territory in antiquated sounds. In the duo, Bertucci manipulates Kidambi’s voice through tactile methods with analog tape machine, by pressing on the reels and physically touching the tape. Kidambi reacts in turn with a vocal arsenal of timbral techniques, creating a literal visceral feedback loop of noise, processed, and amplified voice. The explorations are reminiscent of early electronic music and musique concrete, with the added element of live improvised performance.
