Ghost Coast Choir presents a new musical expression rooted in the sound of the classical choir with current lyrics and ambient electronics created by Gustav Rasmussen & Thorben Seierø, both of whom have backgrounds in indie-music/rock & experimental music. Ethereal vocals are manipulated by samples, guitar pedals and old tape machines in songs that revolve around the personal and the pain of losing.

The harmonic beauty of voices form the foundation of the music, and these are contrasted by electronic manipulations and post-production samples which create ambient soundscapes that bring Nils Frahm or William Basinski to mind. Combined with vital lyrics that deal with the life in the modern world, the music spans beauty and rawness, the uplifting and the worldly to make it both timeless and current.

In the live-setting Ghost Coast Choir create a special concert installation with a choir of nine singers and live visuals, allowing the audience to immerse themselves in an audio-visual experience.
