Symbio is musical storytelling at it’s finest. Symbio is regarded as one of the most prominent new bands from the Nordic Folk & World music scene. Composer h. bjørn performs a deconstructed harmonium concert featuring computer music and fragmented samples.

With their magical interplay of hurdy-gurdy & accordion – the duo has become known as a phenomenon and have toured extensively in more than 20 countries – Europe, USA and Canada. The music of Symbio has been described as musical storytelling where virtuoso folk, electronic dance music and minimalistic art music meets and becomes a cinematic experience for the listener. Their third album Endeavour is a sound painting where heartfelt melodies, dreamy soundscapes and hypnotic beats depict life-affirming themes. The album was released in fall 2022 and has been highly acclaimed by listeners and critics both in international and Swedish press. Endeavour was nominated as the best album of the year by the Swedish Folk & World music awards 2023.
