The Omondo Collective was established at the beginning of 2020. Based in the Copenhagen-Malmö area, all four artists come from all corners of the diaspora, from Uganda, Guinea, Jamaica, and the US. The collective was formed with the intent to combine knowledge and practices from each artists’ unique interpretations of R&B and hip hop. Each artist has their own unique sound, providing a dynamic and exciting musical experience. This February, they will hit ALICE at Stairway.

Wantate
Omondos newest member, Wantate, is a Copenhagen-based R&B/soul producer, singer, and songwriter. His keen sense of emotions has allowed his listeners to tap into moments of love. Wantate’s soulful records occupy a sound vulnerability and colorful soundscape.

Petah Moodie
Petah is an independent artist born and raised in the ghettos of Kingston, Jamaica. With a mix of electronic and analogue sounds as his signature, his soundscape is uniquely defined by DR P3 as “a long, warm hug on a cold frosty Monday”.

Soleil Camara
Soleil Camara is a multi-faceted artist, from Sweden, Malmö, bringing together the audible and the visual. You can hear him produce flips, remixes and originals under his alias SOLEIL. If you are a fan of future beats and artists like Channel Tres, Kaytranada and Duckwrth , you will deffo like the sound Soleil provides.

Elijah Okello
Soulful tones and spicy raps with food and anime metaphors! With the blend between hiphop/soul and funk, Ugandan Copenhagen based Elijah Okello creates a soulful blend of all 3 genres while keeping it original and modern in his quirky way.

Djavan Jami
djavan jami is a singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist. her music is an eclectic blend of hip hop, trap, and r&b, relying on emotive lyricism and detailed vocal harmonies derived from her experience in classical music performance and composition. singing in both english and spanish, her afro-latino roots also play an important part in her song creation and process.

ALICE at Stairway
While the concert hall at Nørre Allé 7 is getting a new ventilation system, ALICE is moving into the music venue Stairway in Vanløse on January 1. 2023.
