An evening featuring Chinese cloud rap, modern electronic composition, energetic dance music, and a love for singing. Moodkiller is the name of a concert series put together by Isa Nam Sook Tind (Ryong), Stine Victoria (FMN), and Joakim Wei Bernild (Angel Wei, First Hate), who together also make up the band Haloplus+. Moodkiller takes place at various locations throughout the city, and now it’s our turn at ALICE.

Bloodz Boi
Bloodz Boi is one of the most exciting artists from the Chinese music underground scene. He is a representative of the “cloud rap” genre, which blends lo-fi, ambient, trap, R&B, and surreal soundscapes. With a sensitive and dreamy, almost lethargic vibe, cloud rap is music produced in a bedroom. Bloodz Boi is a pioneer in his field but surprisingly not very well-known in his home country of China. He has collaborated across borders: he released his first album “365” on the Swedish label YEAR0001 and also contributed to the label’s first compilation alongside names like Yung Lean, Bladee, and Thaiboy Digital.

As a producer, he creates deeply emotional atmospheres through textures and sounds that serve as havens for the lyrics sung in Mandarin. Bloodz Boi was part of the Heheanon Music Empire Group, along with artists from the Chinese hip-hop underground scene like Vicious Boy, 3Bangz, and Future Star. He has collaborated with Tohji, Claire Rousay, Umru, Nosgov, How To Dress Well, Eden, and Qian Zheng Hao, among others.

DJ Paydar
With roots in Tehran, DJ Paydar is a Copenhagen-based artist who mixes East with West. Paydar will take you on an energetic trip, flowing between grooving, dancing, jumping with their own beats/remixes, with a choreography behind it.

Dove
Electronic music producer / singer. She moved her base to Berlin this summer.
She expresses with her music a bittersweet sensibility towards her surroundings and her own feelings. Her latest EP “Atarashi Karada” released via Berlin’s label Yergorka. Now She is working on her 1st full length. Also, She runs music label <Pure Voyage> with Le Makeup.
