Take three excellent Nordic jazz musicians with global musical awareness and a fondness for cosmic improvisation join forces with Majid Bekkas – a soulful singer and gimbri master from Morocco. Together they build a bridge between North-African and Scandinavian traditions, aligning the ancestral with the ambient. In 2020 they released an album on German label ACT. The record as well as their concerts have been praised by critics, and ALICE is proud to present this brilliant quartet for a show at Musikcafeen in Copenhagen.
