Free Folk Mondays is back. This time with a focus on colourful tunes and mesmerizing voices. We’re happy to present a new project from Swedish musician Lo Ersare. She has previously performed at Free Folk Mondays with her charming combination of jazz, pop and folk with a healthy dose of banjo. Her new project, Lucky Lo, takes her music in a more pop oriented direction with catchy hooks and groovy retro riffs, but still with plenty of folk sensibility – and with a great band to lift her vision.

Before that, the duo Hvidtjørn will perform. The two musicians connected through the work in the renowned choir Sedjanka, specializing in Bulgarian choir traditions. But Hvidtjørn has a broader vision, exploring various vocal traditions – from Mexican mariachi to Swedish kulning. And of course with plenty of Bulgarian folk music in the mix as well.
