Arash Pandi is an experimental electronic musician, sound designer & teacher from Rasht in northern Iran, currently based in Denmark. In his music, he experiments with Iranian classical music through programming microtonal systems, improvising and using various sound synthesis and audio production techniques, to achieve his particular form of ‘Persian electronic music’.
Pandi just released the new album “Exotic Paradox” (Zabte Sote, 2020) – an astute, socio-political critique of cultural heritage through it’s conceptual narrative and experimental blend of electronic and acoustic sound worlds. Arash Pandi supported Sote at ALICE last year, and we’re looking forward to having him back!
