Get swept into intimate, up-close performances as Solo Salon highlights the best of the city’s art scene. Curated by musician, curator, and innovator Stefan Pasborg, Solo Salon invites the audience to sit in a circle on the floor, bringing them close to solo performers in short, intense, and primarily improvised performances spanning dance, acting, and music. The evening concludes with an exciting DJ set, allowing the audience to enjoy a drink and reflect on the experiences. Following several successful and moving evenings over the past three years at various locations in the city—and at ALICE throughout 2023—Stefan Pasborg will continue his Solo Salons in 2024 when ALICE returns to Nørrebro.

The filterless and intimate solo format showcases the best of the city’s art scene through three handpicked and powerful performers, completely alone on stage in an intimate setting where the foundation is built on improvisation and sincerity.

Solo Salon was created out of a desire to host an evening focused on sublime and heartfelt artists, without filter, in a solo format with short performances of approximately 20-25 minutes. Solo Salon at ALICE spotlights three strong, handpicked performers alone on a small stage with minimal distance to the audience. This evening features Danica Ćurčić (actor), Lukas Hartvig-Møller (modern dancer), and Cornelia Nilsson (musician).

The evening will be rounded off with a DJ set by multi-artist Katrine Grarup Elbo, who is usually known as a violinist in many exciting contexts, but here will create a DJ set based on the three soloists’ selected tracks. All while delightful drinks are available at the bar—which, by the way, is open all evening.
