Experience a soulful evening with true Brazilian star quality as Céu, who has previously played sold-out shows at both ALICE and Global, finally returns to Copenhagen. DJ Carla Schack will spin records before and after the show.

Céu is one of the greatest Brazilian musicians of our time. Since her debut in 2006, she has taken the world by storm with a unique sound that mixes Brazilian roots with jazzy vocals, triphop, afrobeat, and nods to soul icons such as Lauryn Hill and Erykah Badu. There is something truly seductive about her dreamy and summery songs, and with a crystal clear voice and captivating stage presence, Céu always manages to spellbind the audience.

Céu has released six albums and won three Latin Grammys. In the spring of 2022, she will guest ALICE with a brand new album, Um Gosto do Sol, which presents a lush collection of interpretations of artists such as Sade, Milton Nascimento, Gilberto Gil, Joao Gilberto, The Beastie Boys, and Jimi Hendrix. The album shows Céu’s broad horizons and the easiness with which she moves through different genres. We simply can’t wait to welcome the Brazilian star back once again, this time around in Valby Kulturhus.
