Stundom is Nordic to the core! Inspired by traditional dance music, classical chamber music tradition, and modern symphonic elements, the trio invites the audience into their wondrous musical world. With a lineup of cittern, violin, and piano, Emma Elmøe, Villads Hoffmann, and Julian Svejgaard share a unique musical chemistry and an ability to create captivating melodies and enchanting live energy. In 2015, Emma Elmøe and Villads Hoffmann started as the duo Elmøe & Hoffmann, part of the young and growing Danish folk music scene, and won the “New Talent” award at the Danish Music Awards Folk the same year. In 2017, Danish folk pianist Julian Svejgaard joined the duo for the recording of their debut album “Vandkanten,” and since then, the three friends have been inseparable.

Today, Stundom is one of the most acclaimed groups in new Nordic folk music in Denmark, with Emma Elmøe being the youngest ever nominated for the “Artist of the Year” award at the Danish Music Awards Roots. In September 2021, Stundom released their second studio album “Må jeg holde din hånd?” (May I Hold Your Hand?), and their latest single “Så meget godt i vente” (So Much Good to Come) promises a great evening when the outstanding folk trio visits ALICE this October and release their new album!
