Dear audience,
The current COVID-19 restrictions have been prolonged untill February 28. This means that all culture institutions have to remain closed, and it means that all concerts at ALICE in February are cancelled. Sadly this also means that the show with Sara Parkman has to be cancelled. We’re working on an alternative date. In the meantime, ticket holders will automatically receive a refund from Billetto and don’t have to do anything further.

After her acclaimed solo debut “Sara Parkmans skog” and her brilliant collaboration with Samantha Ohlanders on ”Matriarkerna”, Sara Parkman released the masterpiece “Vesper” in late 2019.
Sara Parkman has made a name for herself as a prolific songwriter, singer, activist and artist, creating her very own contemporary take on the Nordic folk music tradition. In the hands of Sara Parkman the folk music traditions become charged with poetry and political protest, and the acoustic instruments merge with rich sonic layers.
On “Vesper” she explores sacred music, prayers and hymns, but with all her fury and political indignation intact, as she demonstrated when she performed at ALICE in early 2020. We’re thrilled to bring her back to Copenhagen for a special show in Brorson’s Church – a fitting setting for her contemporary and vital take on sacred music.
