Spooky-J and pq corrupt the Nilotica Cultural Ensemble with techno sensibilities and a whole load of darkness! Nihiloxica creates a darker take on traditional Bugandan drumming. The band is comprised of seven percussionists with instruments such as djembe, Namunjoloba and binghi together with one kit drummer combined with an analog synth player.

After two EP’s on the hyped Ugandian label Nyege Nyege Tapes, Nihiloxica released their breathtaking debut album “Kaloli” on Crammed Discs in 2020. Here we are in 2023 and Nihiloxica are ready to make you dance. They did a brilliant performance at ALICE in 2021, and in November they return to Copenhagen – this time with a new EP containing remixes of tracks off “Kaloli”.

CAPITANA
Capitana is a new musical project founded by Danish-Argentinian producer Nanna Fittipaldi. Her first single “All the Way (ft. Lois)” has been airplay from numerous local radio stations. The music is a fusion of rhythms and genres with elements of Latin American combined with classic composition. Capitana hopes to create space for Latin American music and women producers in Denmark as well as internationally.
