Visitor Kane is a 5-piece band centered around the songwriting and baritone-singing of Patrick Kociszewski. Having set off as a rhythm-heavy duo consisting of Kociszewski and partner Julie Lind, the band first appeared in its present form at last year’s SPOT Festival. This also marked the first showcasing of a different songwriting approach, relying more on band dynamics and American guitar tradition. While traces of John Cale, Nick Cave and the likes are evident in Visitor Kane’s music, it remains clear that the ways of Kociszewski and his group will not fall under domestication. This October, Visitor Kane is putting out their second album “Change of Heart” on Part Time Records.
Rocky Top is a two piece consisting of Jakob Emil and Adam Kjær. With melodious vocals and melancholic guitars, they will take you all the way to Copenhagen, Tennessee.
