The Aalborg duo Kogekunst is already a true favorite at ALICE. At ALICE Summer Series, they will fill the air with their intense drone rock, kindergarten hits and dance pop. Danielle Dahl is added as support.

Summer is here, and after months of lockdown we are excited to finally open for concerts again. With ALICE Summer Series we present a series of amazing local acts in the yard of Nørre Allé 7, in collaboration with Union. The outdoor concerts will take place on selected weekend afternoons all Summer between June 12th and August 15th, all seated and safe, and with a limited amount of tickets in order to keep the COVID-19-restrictions from the Danish authorities. We proudly present Dreamers’ Circus, Kogekunst, Dawda Jobarteh, Josefine Opsahl, Basco, Astrid Sonne, Spellcaster, Det Yderste Hav, Erna, Lund & Pultz Melbye, Lucrecia Dalt and more.

Due to limited capacity, we recommend you to buy your tickets in presale via Billetto. All concerts cost 100 DKK (50 DKK for children up to the age of 13).

We’re updating the programme regularly. Please stay tuned on our website and via the Facebook-event. We’re looking forward to welcoming you to a lot of lovely concerts in the yard all Summer!

Kogekunst

The Danish duo Kogekunst is a true audience favorite at ALICE! They play drone rock, kindergarten hits, dance pop, noisepiss, ballads and everything that comes to their minds. The two musicians approach the music with boyish curiosity, indomitable playfulness and orchestrates a clash of genres, electric slashes and shameless sugar pop. Kogekunst is a sonic action painting. The group made their mark on the national map for new original rock music release “SEXEDE” in August 2018, and celebrated the release of their second album “LALA” (2019) at ALICE last year.

Their music has been featured in The Wire, Politiken, Passive/Aggressive, I Care If you Listen, LA Weekly, as well as a number of underground zines and blogs. They have released 3 full length albums, several cassettes and a 10’’ with Daniel Lercher and Lumpy Space Princess, Tigers Mind and bravura in the face of grief.
